In collaboration with Olocip’s specialized AI department, composed of experts in the field with extensive experience and knowledge (PhDs and MSc in AI), DAZN positions itself as one of the first platforms to adopt the most disruptive and cutting-edge technology in its program about the transfer market.

The primary differentiation of AI applied to performance analysis, compared to other current proposals in the industry, lies in two key points. First, the AI solution allows for providing the objective value of players’ performance by analyzing each of their actions during matches, based on the probability of scoring and conceding goals. This provides a precise measure of the player’s real impact on the game and the team throughout their career and in future scenarios.

Second, the ability to contextualize players’ performance in each club allows for simulating their performance in any new future context. This involves considering factors such as teammates, opposing teams, playing styles, coaches, and competitions, among others. In this way, it provides performance analysis and honest comparisons, avoiding biases based solely on the clubs of origin or unequal contexts.
