The Sport Innovation Alliance (SIA) was created with the idea of being a reference point for innovation in football. It acts as a benchmark for football clubs from different countries whose objective is to define, execute and maintain innovative processes with other clubs in their alliance.

The challenge

The SIA is formed by a range clubs, irrespective of size or economic power. Therefore, each alliance member’s ability to access complex technology solutions is uneven. The objective set by the SIA was to democratise the use of advanced technology and to offer all its clubs predictive analysis solutions on player performance which was thus far, non-existent in the industry.

Our solution

SIA: Predictive performance analysis platform

Following the SIA’s request, a number of tools were created to facilitate decision-making throughout the player signing and analysis process. From identifying players with future similar styles of play and potential destination clubs, to the analysis of predicted performance in scouting and transfers. These tools significantly reduce uncertainty surrounding a player’s future performance and add context and scientific scrutiny by using the most advanced technologies across all the alliance’s clubs.
