RCD Espanyol implements artificial intelligence in its sports management alongside Olocip

RCD Espanyol and Olocip have formalized a strategic agreement for the implementation of advanced artificial intelligence models in the club’s sports management. This collaboration aims to capitalize on the potential of technology to optimize various aspects of sports management in a personalized and complementary manner to the experience of the club’s professionals.

The Catalan entity, recognized four times as Copa del Rey champion, will integrate Olocip’s intelligent scouting platform TCT Scout into its operations, as well as a specialized solution for match analysis. The incorporation of these artificial intelligence-based tools will enable RCD Espanyol to identify emerging talent, as well as to plan and manage the squad with scientific rigor and maximum objectivity.

The scouting platform, TCT Scout, has the unique ability to objectively assess the performance of players day by day, to contextualize and estimate sports performance and market value in future contexts. A unique solution in the market that covers total coverage of leagues, competitions, and players.

As part of this collaboration, a personalized interactive business intelligence solution will be created where the sports entity will have detailed reports of selected players. This solution will integrate language models that will unify both the reports prepared by the club’s professionals and the recommendations offered by Olocip’s predictive models.

The AI system will be integrated as an essential component in the club’s data department, providing the sports management with predictive technology tools that, combined with their knowledge, will optimize strategic decision-making.
