Olocip and RCD Espanyol Partner Again for Technological and Digital Transformation of the Club

Olocip, a leader in artificial intelligence solutions and data analysis, is pleased to announce its new agreement with RCD Espanyol following our successful strategic alliance in sports management. This partnership aims to revolutionise data management and analysis in the club’s corporate area through the creation of a data lake and a Business Intelligence ecosystem, marking a milestone in RCD Espanyol’s digital transformation.

The Perico club, after its promotion to LaLiga, has identified the need to centralise and organise the multiple data sources it handles daily. These sources include ticket and membership sales, merchandising, catering, and marketing, among others. The solution proposed by Olocip will allow the Blanquiazul team to integrate all these data sources into a single platform, creating a robust and efficient data lakehouse that will be the cornerstone of its digital transformation. This will enable more effective and coherent information management.

An interactive and personalised dashboard will be developed to allow RCD Espanyol professionals to perform cross-sectional analysis among all data sources, relating sales, attendance, catering, and merchandising metrics for the same event or season.

Additionally, artificial intelligence systems will be implemented to develop predictive models that assist in decision-making and contextualisation to new scenarios, as well as in task automation.
