RCD Espanyol and Plexus Sport take a new step to enhance the fan experience

Madrid, 17 June 2026 – RCD Espanyol and Plexus Sport continue to advance their strategic collaboration with a new project that marks a key milestone in the club’s digital evolution, reinforcing the use of data as a central element in its operations and in its relationship with fans.

This new initiative builds on the foundations laid in recent years, including the development of the corporate Data Lake and the implementation of Perico ID, the platform that unifies the digital identity of fans and enables a 360º view of the fan.

The project takes shape as a new service layer that allows the club’s consolidated information to be made available in a secure and controlled manner to its various digital platforms and technology partners.

Building on this ecosystem, the club takes a further step towards a model in which information is not only centralised, but activated in an agile, integrated and connected way across channels and services — enabling platforms such as Espanyol Media (the club’s OTT), the official app, the e-commerce store, or future loyalty initiatives to access the information needed to deliver personalised services.

Thanks to this evolution, RCD Espanyol will be able to integrate its digital systems and platforms more efficiently, ensuring that relevant information is available wherever it is needed. This will optimise internal operations and enhance the club’s ability to offer more personalised and consistent experiences to its fans.

With this project, the club consolidates its commitment to a data-driven strategy applied to decision-making and fan engagement, in an increasingly demanding and competitive environment.
